tic tac toe

Good morning everyone, I hope you've all remembered to put your clocks back an hour, unlike me I forgot completely and was awake, up and ready at 7am but of course it wasn't 7am but 6am silly me lol
anyway its that time again, its time for our fortnightly challenge over at That Craft Place Challenge Blog and this time the Challenge is Tic Tac Toe and what we would like you to do is use either a horizontal or a vertical line for your cards or creations

to help you get started here's my card for inspiration and the line i've chosen is Gems, Ribbon,Sentiment

and for this card i've use the following, 6x6 white card, molly blooms design papers, corrugated craft card, craft card, bazzill, gold satin card, neenah solar white card, burgundy stain ribbon, gold satin ribbon, hessian ribbon, flat backed pearls, promarkers and flexmarkers, Tim Holtz distress ink and ranger glossy accents which can all be bought from Lisa at That Craft Place the mulberry roses, blooms, holly leaves and stamens were from Wild Orchid Crafts and the gold bell charm and gold bead cap were from my own little crafty stash.

The  gorgeous image is a saurated canary one that i've coloured using promarkers, flexmarkers, glamour dust  and a touch of glossy accents for her eyes, lips and buttons. I've also used Tim Holtz Distress ink and tool to help create a vintage look to the card.

This fortnights challenge is sponsored by That Craft Place.
We look forward to seeing you there so please pop over and see what our lovely ladies on the design team have created to help inspire you.

Butterfly Baby

Hi everyone, I've finally been able to sit an get down to some crafting woohoo (does a little happy dance) after a busy week trying to get the house ready for christmas, so after a few licks of paint here and there and all of my kitchen cupboards emptied, cleaned and all put back (well almost everything apart for the clutter that  I seem to have collected over this past year lol) I have managed to make a couple of cards.

This card was made using the gorgeously cute Saturated Canary Digi Stamp called Butterfly Baby
the design papers I've used are Heltz Cuppleditch Neighbourwood 6x6 papers which are scrummy and flittered ( I just love them ). I've also used Bazzill Basics, Silver Mirri, 6x6 White Scalloped Card, Guipure Lace, Aqua Satin Ribbon, Handmade Pink Flower, Die cut Button, Flatbacked Pearls, Ranger Glossy Accents.

To colour this little cutie I have used Promarkers and Flexmarkers and I've also added a little Ranger Glossy Accents to this little cuties eyes and lips which hopefully you can just about see in this picture below (I really do hope Santa Claus is going to be kind to me this year and bring me a lovely shiny new camera lol)

And this next picture is a close up of the stunning flittered butterfly papers from Heltz Cuppleditch's Neighbourwood collection

Oops silly me I forgot to mention that I've also used Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and distressing tool to help soften the edges of the topper and take away some of the starkness of the white Neenah  Solar White Card that the butterfly baby's image was stamped on.

Oh well time for me to go and try and get creative in the kitchen (cooking just isn't my thing lol) and go rustle up something for tea for my very very patient OH and son.

It is always lovely to read your comments and to hear what you think about my cards and other crafty things, also if you have any questions just pop them in the comments box and I'll try to answer all

Geisha Aimi....

Hi everyone,  the sun is shining down on us here in the north east and what a beautiful autumn morning it is. Today's card was made using LOTV's  Aimi with lantern, she's such a cutie

To make this card I've used  a 6x6 white scalloped card, Bazzill Basics card, First Edition Dreamcatcher Desisgner papers (these papers are to die for), A White Square Doily, Lilac Satin & Organza Ribbon, Lilac Jute Ribbon, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad, Rose buds, Roses & Cherry Blossom Blooms from WOC, Punched Leaves & Butterflies, Hunkydory Glitter, Blue Wire, Pearls and One of my handmade Cameo's that I made Yesterday.

This photo is a close up of the Cameo that I made and also of the Japanese word that I wrote (this was about the 10th attempt lol) which says Happiness,

These are some of the cameo embillies that I made a few nights ago, I've got to say making these is quite addictive lol

I'm off now to catch up on a couple of DT challange's that I really need to get done and I really hope that you like this card.

Boobie Love

hi everyone, I hope you've all had a lovely weekend, I had a fab time yesterday at the GNPE Harrogate and came home with loads and loads of crafting goodies (I also came home penniless too lol) and I'm still trying to find somewhere to put it all :o)

Today's card is one that I made for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, she's a Digi Stamp from Saturated Canary and she's called Boobie Love and I think she's fab.

To make this card I've used:- a white 6x6 scalloped card, bazzill basics, papers from dovecraft princess fairytale, silver mirri, pink grosgrain ribbon, a pink handmade flower, a white heart embellishment that I made a few days ago, a silver filigree corner from WOC, some pearls, glossy accents and some ranger stickles.

To colour Boobie Love I have used my promarkers and flex markers and I've also added a little glossy accents to her eyes, lips and nail polish.

This is a close up of the ribbon detail and the white heart embellishment that I made a few days ago

Well I really do need to get busy and start to put all my lovely new crafty things away and then maybe I will be able to see my craft desk ;o) lol
