white on white

White on White

Hi everyone,
hope you have all had a lovely weekend, well I have been having fun creating my own cameo embellishments from some moulds that I borrowed from my mum and I tried air dry clay but wasn't too impressed with the results that I got so I then tried Fimo which was a lot better, you will see some of the results at the end of my blog and maybe you could let me know what you think of them.

Now for my card, to make this card I have used a white 6x6 scalloped card, silver mirri, white damask print digi paper, a white spellbinders poinsettia I made , white machine cut flourish frame which I added white flatbacked pearls of various sizes and some white ranger liquid pearls for the smaller pearls, white organza ribbon and pearl brad all of which can be found over at that craft place as can the gorgeous Magnolia Tilda Stamp, the white angel cameo |I made using white glitter fimo and the sentiment was one that i was given from one of my crafty friends.

This picture I've tried to show the flourish frame with the pearls and liquid pearls oh and the spellbinders poinsettia (I really need a better camera, maybe santa claus will bring me one if I'm a good girl lol)

And this is a close up of the angel cameo embellishment  that I made using the white glitter fimo.

I've coloured the image of Magnolia Tilda using my promarkers and flexmarkers and I've also added some Hunkydory Glitter to make her dress sparkle.

And as promised here's a few of the cameo embellishments that I made, I had loads of fun making these and I'm now waiting for Mr Postie to bring me another batch of fimo clays and moulds so that I can play some more. I would love to hear from you so please pop a comment in the comment box to let me know what you think.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges :-

Hi everyone,
brrrr it's really getting cold now and the nights are drawing in soooo quickly :o(  I don't know about you but I really don't like the dark nights or the cold but I love autumn and all the lovely  red, orange &  yellow colours etc as the leaves all change on the trees it all looks so beautiful.

This is a christmas card that I made a few nights ago, to make this card I've used a 6x6 scalloped white card, some red bazzill basiscs card, a machine cut filigree frame that I have distressed with a little tim holtz antique linen , then I added some flatbacked white pearls in two sizes and also some ranger liquid pearls, the poinsettia was made using the spellbinder poinsettia die, a little frosted lace ranger stickles and a scalloped flat backed pearl from WOC, I've also used some 25mm deep red satin ribbon, a red crystal brad and the sentiment was given to me from a friend.

To colour the magnolia image I've used my promarkers and flexmarkers and I've also added a little glamour dust for a little extra sparkle, well whats a christmas card without a bit of sparkle lol

I'm off now to have a play with some of the new crafty bits and pieces I've just bought :o) so I'll see you all soon and It would be really lovely to hear your comments.

Boho Chic...

Good morning everyone hope you've all had a lovely weekend :o) Well I have finally managed to sort out my craft area (what was our dining room) lol and its starting to look organised, not promising it will stay that way for long though.
Before I started that I made this card using one of the digi downloads that I've just got from Saturated Canary

To make this card I have used a white scalloped  6"x 6" card, First Edition Papers Boho Pad (these papers are just  stunning, I love them) Bazzill Basics, olive green organza ribbon and silver bag charm all of which are available from That Craft Place as are the Mulberry roses and blooms and the whimsy stamped sentiment.
the sequins and pearls were from my own little crafty stash

To colour this image I have used my promarkers and flexmarkers in the following colours
skin:- dusky pink, blush and rose pink
hair:- burnt umber, cinnamon, terracotta and satin
dress:- marsh green, apple cider and pear green
boots:- tan and cocoa
and I've added a touch of glaze to her lips, eyes and the buttons on her boots

I have also added a touch of ranger stickles in frosted lace to the blooms and the edges of the mats. I really think its time I bought myself a better camera because believe me these pictures don't do these papers any justice :o(  never mind maybe santa claus will bring me one for christmas if I'm a good girl lol.
