Daisy's Wish...

Daisy's Wish.....

Hello everyone,  What on earth has happened to our weather?? I remember spending my Easter holidays down at the beach wearing cut off jeans and t-shirts, and here I am now cuddling the fire wearing thermals, t-shirts and big wooly jumpers lol.

So for today's post I thought that I would colour up one of my favorite stamps from Elisabeth Bell "DAISY" and even though she's not quite wearing cut off jeans she is wearing jeans and a t-shirt :)

To make this card I have used the following :-

6x6 white card, blue core'dinations, first edition "up, up, & away" design papers,
blue polka dot grosgrain ribbon, silver mirri, ranger stardust stickles, ranger
glossy accents, white 3mm white ribbon, green eyelets, wish tile, green flat back
pearls, crystal bling gem and a handmade blue flower.

to colour Daisy I've used the following promarkers and flexmarkers :-
skin - dusky pink, blush, coral, and cocktail pink
hair - satin, squirrel grey and buttercup
jeans - denim blue and tea green
t-shirt - pear green, marsh green and  apple cidar

And I've also used Tim Holtz tumbled glass distress ink and a stencil to create the cloudy sky.

I hope that you like her :)

My Old Friend Magnolia....

Good morning everyone, I've been having a mini craft sort out and While I was sorting my stamps I came across all my Magnolia Tilda stamps and thought to myself It's been a long time since I stamped and coloured one of them, so Today's card is one I made from a Magnolia image.

To make this card I have used the following :-
6x6 white scalloped card, Core'dinations,  silver mirri, design papers, doily, organza ribbon,
mulberry blooms, roses, cherry blossom, leaves and rosebuds, ranger liquid pearls, stardust
stickles, glossy accents, silver beadcap, large flat back pearl and silver made with love charm
and silver puffed heart charm.

To colour the stamped Magnolia image I used Spectrum Noir pens and this was the first time I've coloured a Magnolia Tilda using them. Then I added Hunkydory Diamond dust to her apron and tray, I also added glossy accents to the coffee pot.

Well I'm off to try and catch up on some housework and I suppose I really need to tackle the mountain of ironing so I maybe gone quite some time lol :)

I  grew up in a Crafty family, with a very creative Gran, Mum and even Dad...he was always into woodworking....
I acquired a laser cutter early December last year after having my second child, which made it nearly impossible to return to work because of expensive child care, so I had to look for something I can do from home.
It was the biggest learning curve of my life and never really realised what I was getting myself into until the machine arrived.
But anyway not going to bore you with the rest, I am here and we will have to see what the future holds....."

A white 6x6 scalloped card
First Edition design papers
Pink organza ribbon
Stardust Stickles
Glossy Accents
Brilliance Inkpad
Flat back pearls

The image I've used is a Moxie Girl which I have coloured using my Promarkers, Flexmarkers & Spectrum Noir and I've added glossy accents to her eyes and lips. I've also added some Hunkydory diamond dust to her top for a little extra bling

This is a close up of the flower embellishment I made using a Maya Road chipboard flower which I inked up with a white brilliance inkpad, I then glittered it using Stardust Stickles, I then added a silver bead car that I'd flattened out and glued a large Ivory flat backed pearl.
