Busy, Busy, Busy...

Busy, Busy, Busy....

Hi everyone, I hope that you're all well...Wow where on earth has this
past week gone? it's just flown by so quickly, sort of like blink and you
miss it lol. The weather here has been blooming Arctic these last few days
but fortunately we've managed to sort out the fence and a few other
garden jobs that needed doing before the weather turned Wintery, who
would have thought that we would be having snow, hail and icy winds
after having such glorious weather only 5 days ago.
Anyhoo I would like to share with you a Cris Cross card that I made a couple
of days ago using some of the breathtakingly beautiful Craft and You
"Vintage Time" papers

Card Recipe
2 x Cream 6x6 Cards, Craft and You "Vintage Time" Design Papers
Spellbinders die White Lace, Pink Silk Ribbon, Pearl trim,
White Tassel and Topper from my stash &
Pink Mulberry Rosebuds from WOC

This is the reverse side of the Tag

Well I'd better get going, I'm off out shopping and I've got a mountain
of ironing that's waiting for me when I get back home and sadly it won't
do itself will it lol. Have a lovely day everyone.

New Beginnings.....

New Beginnings

Hi everyone, I hope that you're all well. We've had beautiful weather these
past few days, which really helps to lift the spirit doesn't it.
Well after a rather eventful weekend, those of you who know me will already
have heard that I've now sadly left the Aurora Wings Design Team. I've been with
Mitzi and the team right from the very beginning almost 3 years ago now, but
after a lot of soul searching I've now decided it's time that I moved on
to pastures new.

So I am so excited and pleased to announce that I am now going to be working
alongside the lovely talented Petal-lu  Design Team ladies, some of whom
I have been lucky enough to have of worked with before,I'm so looking forward to
working with Lu's beautiful blooms which are all handmade by Lu herself.
I will also be making some samples for the lovely Lisa of That Craft Place too.

Anyhoo the card that I have for you today is one that I made at the weekend,
and I thought that this beautiful Angel by Molly Harrison Art was just the perfect
card to make for for my "New Beginning" and as the saying goes
"Every end is a new beginning"

Card Recipe
Mink coloured Bazzill, Gold Satin Mirri, First Edition Design Papers, White Stitched Organza
and Satin Ribbon which I colourised with Promarker to match the colours used on the Angel
image, Hand Tied Double Bow, Pale Blue Pearls, Sakura Stardust Gelly Roll and Glossy

I coloured this beautiful image 2x using the following Pro/Flexmarkers
Skin - Coral, Dusky Pink, Blush & Almond
Hair - Satin, March Hare, Tawny Owl & Shale
Angels Dress and Wings - Ivory, Satin & March Hare
I then fussy cut the image to raise her to help create more depth to the card.

I then added the Glossy Accents and the Sakura Stardust Gelly Roll to add extra depth,
dimension and a little bit of sparkle.

I made the "New Beginnings...." sentiment myself in word and just matted it up onto
some of the Gold Satin Mirri, I then curled the sentiment before adding to the card.

I hope that you like her.

Work In Progress

Hi everyone, It's grey, gloomy and raining here today so I can't think of
anything better than to spend some time colouring. Of course I should be
doing the dreaded housework and I know that mountain of ironing won't iron
itself but I'm secretly hoping that the HW fairies will come visit, wave their
magic wands and it'll all be taken care of LOL.
What are you all doing today?

Anyhoo this is what I've been colouring, it's from Bennett Klein's new
Colour my Sketchbook 2 which you can find HERE!!  This colouring book
contains a selection of  25 pages of Bennett's STUNNING artwork.
As you can see this is still very much a Work In Progress but I just had to
share it with you.

Well I'm off to finish colouring her up and I hope that you like her as
much as I do.

Hannah Lynn #10

Punch of Colour

Hi everyone, I hope that you're all well and that the weather is just as lovely
where you are as it has been these last two days. I've spent sometime in the
garden taking care of the weeding and getting rid of all the plants and shrubs
that didn't make it through the last winter. I'm hoping like crazy that my oldest
Dwarf Weeping Willow is okay and that it's just a little late budding this year,
because this little tree was the last Mother's Day gift given to me from my
daughter Leanne before we lost her, so as you can probably imagine this tree
means the world to me so I'm keeping everything crossed that it's okay.

The card that I would like to share with you all today was made using a
Hannah Lynn image which is from her "Punch of Colour Girls" collection
and this one is #10

To make this card I have used
Black Card as my Base Card, Silver Mirri, Apricot Hunkydory
Adorable Scorable, Docrafts Paper Capsule Design Paper, Anna Griffin
Embossing Folder, Black Organza and Satin Ribbon and Hand tied Bow,
& Black Pearls

To colour this beautiful image I have used a selection of Pro/Flexmarkers
in the following colours

Skin - Coral, Dusky Pink, Blush and Almond
Hair - Apricot, Honeycomb, Burnt Orange & Terracotta
Eyes - Winter Spruce, Marsh Green, Pear Green & Lime Twist
Everything Else - Berry Red, Crimson, Gold & Frosted Jade

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge over at the

The theme for our challenge is

Inktense blocks in a selection of colours, Next I stippled the Imagination Crafts
Starlights Metallic Paints in Cyclamen, Diamond, Blue and Rich Gold, I absolutely
love these paints, they're packed full of pigment and are so twinkly and shiny.
